Your office space
Just because you work from home, does not mean you shouldn’t have a good office space. While budget may not allow for much, you still need the basics of a good desk, lighting, file cabinet and a good chair. A good chair is especially key for all of the long hours you will put in while you build your business. Purchase something that you can adjust as much as possible so you can change your position periodically.
Setting up your office furniture so everything is easy to grab while you are working is another key. Yes, getting up for breaks is important for your body, but it is not productive to have to get up constantly to get your papers from files. You’ll also be less likely to file your papers if they are not convenient to where you regularly work your business.
Put some thought into how you design your office space and make sure and purchase some good furniture. Your back and joints will thank you every day for it!
