Working while sick
One of the best things about working from home is not having to call in sick. Now this is of course good and bad as all things are. I started this week off super tired and queazy and not wanting to spread any germs on to my clients or anyone else at the gym. I think the worst part my coffee makers down for 3 days because I was worried about keeping it down. With how tired I was, this was the worst possible option. This also means that I am now 2 days behind in workouts with my clients. Meaning that is two days of appointments longer that I will have to wait for them buy more sessions. That may not seem like a lot, but I have it calculated out how much per day I need to work to make my bills.
So this brings me to my online businesses of course. I’m super tired, but I have to switch it into gear and work a few hours extra each day to pull in some extra to make up for the lack of offline appointments.
Now this brings me to my point of working while sick. I have learned to double and triple check my work on sick days. I even have others proof things if necessary. I have put some emails and pages up in the past that weren’t proofread and let’s just say it didn’t come across like English was my first language. lol I now try to work on a lot of things that are copy and paste or items that I need to go over at least twice anyway. For example writing ebooks and articles. I can jam out a first copy and then go back over it on another day.
These are also days that I go through my email and organize. Things that are a priority get taken care of immediately. Many of them are usually updating affiliate links or changing affiliate buttons so this is part of the copy and pasting that I can do without breaking anything in my fuzzy minded state.
Being home sick really stinks. But if you have an action plan of things that you normally put off, you can still be productive! Oh and have no fear. My coffee pot was working in high gear today.
