I have to agree on the cons, it can sometimes get lonely and the stress of deadlines can be as bad has working a 9-5er. But having the flexibility to plan your work around your day, instead of your day around your work is awesome!

One more pro not mentioned IS the relationships you can build online with others if of a whole other dimension to the offline world!!

Absolutely Deb and one of the other kickers is if you aren't making enough you usually only have yourself to blame. Have to take a good hard look at what you are actually working and what may be time wasters.

Great points! The "glory" of working from home is often talked about and the fact is it is not for everyone. There usually is enough support in an established direct selling company that you are not alone. There is an expression that you are "working from home, but you are not alone" because there is so much support from fellow team members, upline and home office. The fact is thought that never leaving your house for a "job" can get lonely and the motivation to keep on working is what frequently holds people back. You have to work to get paid. It is never a quick fix!

This is very good advice for anyone contemplating working from home. It took me several years, once I decided to be a WAHM, to develop the discipline needed. I'm so glad I did however.....I've now done this so long that I have become a WAHGM (work at home grandma!).
