I listen to them. I love Kelly’s WAHM Talk Radio, was on it a long time ago when it was still relatively new when she only had a few hundred listeners LOL, yep sure was. There is a lot you can learn from them…I think my favorite thing about the on demand radio shows is that you can listen and work at the same time. Sometimes I wish the blogs I can’t go without reading were in a radio format…seriously cause I have to read my favorites no matter what but there is not always enough time
I think starting your own blog talk radio could really gain you a lot of exposure. Lots of positive assets for sure.
But, you are right to consider the commitment that it will take. Do you have sufficient time for scheduling and producing your show? Does it fit your personality? Some people can talk to literally anyone and strike up a long conversation. Others struggle in this area.
And yes, you want to consider what niche you’ll dive into. It should be one that will retain your interest and the interest of many others. Look at the category topics listed on your blog. Obviously you have interest in these subjects. That might help you narrow things down….unless you are wanting to take off on a new path…and that would be perfectly fine too!
Best wishes,

Thanks ladies.
Chrissy, the listening and working is a good one. I noticed that while I was getting ready for my last interview and listening to previous shows. Kind of like I leave the tv on for background noise while I work.
Rhonda, here is the issue. I have lots I could do the radio show on. I’d need to research how many wahm one’s are out there because I wouldn’t necessarily want to be one of many when I could go into another direction and be 1 of a few and hit that market quicker. I own http://www.busymommawellness.com so women’s health is a big passion as well.
