Pushing Ahead in 2010

If you read my post from mid December, then you know that my first goal is to lose some business deadweight.

This year has been crazy-nuts. I’ve had a few downs with some deaths and illness or injuries, but for the most part it’s been the ups that have created the most chaos.

Basically, we’ve had a blast this year. We have incredible friends that are more like family and we’ve camped and hung out like never before. Then add the skiing/boarding into the mix because our season lasted so long last year and started over a month early this year already. For those that may not know, my husband is a firefighter so with is crazy schedule it’s been a blast to just take off on weekdays and go hang out when the kids are in school. He’s been covering the majority of my bills for months now because of this. lol

The majority of my income comes from my personal training biz and my teaching my seniors fitness class. I always work around the seniors class 3 mornings a week, but in order to get more gym clients I need to be at the gym. If I’m out playing you can see how that can get pretty difficult. Hubby would, of course, love to stop paying my bills, but he also loves me going off to play. Viscious cycle.

Then this leads us to fitting in my online work. Luckily he does work 24 hour shifts so on days he’s at work if I’m not meeting with clients I have a lot of time to get stuff done. BUT, I’ve found this year that I am so far behind in things I wanted to get done that I’ve been wasting a huge amount of time. I MEAN HUGE. Makes me want to throw up amount of time. Especially when I know good and well that I can crank certain projects out in under an hour.

Why I bring all this up is because all this busyness puts more things into priorities. There really isn’t a medium or low priority as far as sites/blogs go for me right now. It’s either high or not a priority at all. This leads me to being able to make a list of sites that have to go. One of these sites is the second one I ever created! But honestly, it’s deadweight and must go. I don’t have time today to set up actual sales pages or posts, but I’m going to include a list here of some that will need to go. If you want more information on them please email me at valselby @ gmail.com (just take out the spaces) Please make sure and let me know which site(s) you are inquiring about.

Networking WAHM only asking $50
Little Scrapbook Shop
Scrap Facts this site also includes Scrap Facts Guide
Moms Indulgence.

These are a good start and hard enough to put out there. lol Have you made a list of sites, blogs and domain names you need to get rid of? You’d be amazed how even empty domain names can hold you down.

If you have some websites, blogs and/or domains that you are ready to let go of I can help post them for you on a couple of sites. Just go to Easy WAHM Websites for more information. It’s only $5 and it will be posted on EWW and here as well.

Oh now look what you did…. LMBO…. I was thinking about buying Networking wahm… But here I am supposed to be getting rid of things on my plate not adding more to my plate.

Well I’ll be keeping an eye out for your deadweight post! So sorry, but I have right of refusal on the sale. So you would have to get rid of some to get some.

Before buying a site you need to look at how it fits into your plan. Does it take over a few blogs/sites you are already trying to do? This is the only way it will become something that helps your business instead of adding more deadweight. Guess a new blog post is in order?! lol
