I find that when I multi-task I get less done. So everyday I create my priority and work on that first thing in the morning (when the creative juices are flowing) and then I leave the less important stuff for the afternoon when I’m running low. By single tasking I can completely focus on the task at hand and I tend to get it finished quicker and it tends to be of a higher quality.
I used to have no problem multi-tasking. As I’ve gotten older and life has changed I have found exactly what you said to be true. I need to focus on the most important thing first thing in the morning and run with it.
