Hi Cristin! Thanks for stopping by!

I know what you mean about checking out other people’s meal plans. I could just spend HOURS (that I don’t have) reading recipes. I need a recipe for practically everything I make so I tell myself it’s good use of my time but I get sidetracked. Good luck with your new baby!

Ah! I love planning menu planning too! But sometimes I end up interchanging it on others days! You know how our mood gets and what food we crave at some days. (note: I am not pregnant! hahaha) But this really helps with the dilemma of “what to cook” and what “what to buy” on the groceries. :)

Maria, I know what you mean about switching up the days of the menu plan! I can’t possibly know what I’ll *be in the mood for* a week before BUT at least I’ll know that I’ll have the ingredients on hand as opposed to opening up the freezer and waiting to be inspired (which has never worked for me!)

Oh man! Talk about something I need to improve on. I just know I would save time and money if I could get myself to do this. Thank you so much for that link! I’m going to try that right away. Maybe this is the key to me finally getting organized.

Jane, My biggest challenge is actually doing the menu plan consistently. You’ll notice I don’t have any other menu plans posted because this was the last one I did! I once read on another site (which I can’t remember the name of) and their tip was to keep rotating only 14 meals in your menu plan. Basically 2 weeks of completely different meals that your family loves and then you don’t ever have to truly think about what to serve. That seems a bit limiting to me BUT I also have picky eaters, so I may have to try that method.
