Today I’m having a tough time getting anything done online. I can’t seem to figure out why I can’t focus on my business right now. I have a list here by me of things that really MUST be completed. Yet I’ve wasted at least 3 hours. Now I did go through a few emails, so that was productive. But it wasn’t any of the important things on my list.

I have no choice but to get this stuff done, doesn’t matter how much time it takes me. It’s only 4 here on the west coast so I do still have a good amount of time to find my business focus. But only if I work on it right this minute. So here are my steps to getting a little more business focus on my projects and less staring at the computer screen.

1. I just took my projects and broke them down into much smaller items. For example, I have to get a meal plan done. Instead of having that big project on my list looming at me, I wrote down recipes, shopping list, article. Now I can go accomplish one item and get it crossed off. I’m a big list person, so once I start crossing things off it’ll flow.

2. Prioritize which things on my list need to be done first and which one’s are bogging my brain down. I have items on my list that I’ve been meaning to get done for a while. I won’t get to them today at this rate. I have a feeling that is keeping me back from getting even 1 thing done.

3. Set the timer and work on housework between projects. We have high hopes of going skiing/boarding tomorrow. This means that I need to make sure the laundry is done tonight so I don’t have to stay up late on Sunday. Also don’t want to come home to a dirty kitchen.

Alright, that’s my plan to find my business focus. Now off to go get the first major one done. Recipes Setting my timer so I can do the dishes after working on the recipes.
