Today I wanted to hit on one of the major points that has helped me over the years. Faking my confidence. For years offline I have faked it. Yes, fake it until you make it really works. But I guess you want to know why?!
The reason faking it works is because you really do know what you are talking about but you are worried no one else will believe you. Take your topic and build from there. Talk to everyone about your topic and don’t stop. Online, offline, doesn’t matter. Everyone needs to know that you are the go-to gal for the expert opinion.
Remember that this is a topic that you know a lot about and others don’t. Do NOT focus on those that know better, just focus on the awesome info you do have and keep researching for even more info. Keep your confidence up and fake it until you believe you have made it baby!
