Quick Tip #22

BACK UP YOUR SITES!!!
I really shouldn’t have to type more than that, it’s the quickest tip ever. But take this as a notice that you need to always have your site backed up in case of an emergency. Try to work it into your weekly agenda that you back that database up. Don’t forget to delete old backups periodically so you aren’t wasting space on your computer.

ASAP?

I know that ASAP used to stand for As Soon As Possible, but I swear some days it’s Posting in my book.
Quick tip to me is ASAP means 24 hours.  Whether you mean as soon as possible or as soon as posting, it doesn’t matter.  It means 24 hours or less now if you are online. lol

Keep it current.
Besides the danger of having out-of-date information, pages that are updated more often get visited more often, and give you a better chance of keeping more customers. Updating your pages also helps with your search engine optimization and page ranking.

Quick Tips #16

Add RSS feed.
Many people keep themselves updated by using RSS feeds instead of checking websites constantly. I personally love using my google feedreader. By adding a RSS feed, you can not only catch these users, you can also tailor feeds specifically for their interests.
