Content is one of the most valuable assets of an internet marketer. But you need to make the most of your content, to repurpose and reuse it in as many ways as possible. Here are a few easy ways to make the most of your content.

1. Article marketing. Articles that are published on your website can be rewritten and used for article marketing purposes. The rewriting process is simply a matter of changing the content by changing the wording, not the overall concept or information in the article. There are tools online that you can use to ensure your ‘rewrite’ is considered ‘original’ by the search engines. But I don’t recommend using them as the sentences will usually not make since and the grammar may become strange. Content can be rewritten by you, a virtual assistant or outsourced to a writer for a nominal fee.

2. Blog posts. Large articles can be segmented into several smaller blog posts. In fact, often one paragraph in a larger article (1000 words or more) makes a great blog post because it’s very specific. All you need to do is write an introduction and a short conclusion and you have a great blog post from content that’s already written. Or you can rewrite a shorter article using the strategy in #1 to create a unique blog post.

3. Reports. Collect like articles and blog posts to create a unique report. You’ll need to write an introduction, a conclusion and some transition paragraphs to make the report feel seamless. However, you’re creating a valuable product you can sell or give away from content that’s primarily already written. If you’re an affiliate marketer, also include a page at the end with resources readers can use that pertained to the report.

4. Guest articles/blog posts. You can rewrite articles to publish on partner websites or as guest blog posts to boost awareness and credibility.

5. Autoresponders/newsletters. Use your article content to create autoresponders or newsletters. Many of your prospects do not visit your website regularly to catch up on new content. You can publish your best articles in a newsletter or you can summarize them, or publish a teaser and link to the article on your website. Thus increasing website traffic.

6. Ebooks. Just like creating reports in #3, you can create ebooks by collecting groups or chapters of like content. Sell it or give it away as a bonus, lead generator or viral product.

7. Ecourses. Use your articles to create short lessons for an online course which you can again give away or charge for as an information product.

It should be noted that all of the points here are on how to make the most of your article content; however, if you have books and reports, they can easily be segmented into articles, blog posts, ecourses, newsletter content and autoresponders.

Whether you’ve written the content, outsourced it, purchased PLR or a combination of all three, it makes good business sense to make the most of your investment.

Content is the mainstay for any internet marketer or blogger. It boosts search engine results, it provides value to visitors, it establishes you as an expert in your industry, it connects you with your target audience, and content helps you market your products and/or services.

When it comes to creating content, including ebooks, reports, articles, blog posts, and audio and video, there are a few options. You can create the content yourself. You can hire someone to create it, or you can use PLR (Private Label Rights) content. Of the three options, PLR offers some unique benefits.

Here’s why PLR is a great source of content for your online business:

* PLR helps you provide valuable knowledge and information to your website visitors without you having to know everything there is to know about your niche topic. It broadens your expertise without having to spend the time researching and gaining the knowledge yourself.

* It is a quick and easy means of creating content. It saves you both the time creating new topics but also researching and writing. Your time is valuable and PLR can give you the time you need to focus on more profitable tasks.

* It’s less expensive than hiring a ghostwriter. PLR saves you money and as a business owner, you’re already acutely aware of how to best spend your money. In many cases you can purchase two or even three times the amount of PLR as if you’d hired a ghostwriter to write the same content yourself. This is because multiple licenses are sold for PLR content.

* With PLR you don’t have to worry about it being delivered on time. Nor do you need to listen to any potential excuses, questions or timely communication issues you may deal with when employing a ghostwriter. It is delivered monthly or for immediate download.

* You can easily edit the content to fit your particular keywords. And by adding a few personal touches to each piece of PLR, you create an original piece of content. Also, it only takes you minutes rather than hours.

* PLR is great to boost search engine optimization. Because each article or PLR piece is created around a unique topic, a little keyword research and some fine tuning of the content is all you need to publish it, be recognized by the search engines and boost your page ranking. A better page ranking means more traffic. More traffic equals more profits, generally. And because search engines look for both quality and volume with regards to content, PLR makes it easy to get noticed by the search engine spiders quickly.

* It helps you become an export in your niche. Private label rights content helps you increase the amount of published content you have on your website and available online. Because you own the rights to it, you are free to place your name as the author. Publication helps establish you and your company as an authority on your niche topic. Authority is a key buying trigger – we buy from people we believe to be experts.

* PLR offers many options. You can easily re-purpose PLR articles into books and reports to give away as bonus material, opt-in offers or even to sell. And if you purchase PLR books and reports, they too can be re-purposed into articles, autoresponders, and blog posts.

* PLR comes in a variety of formats. Articles and blog posts are often the most popular; however, you can purchase PLR autoresponders, ebooks, reports, online courses, software, audios and videos.

PLR offers busy entrepreneurs an easy way to supplement their content. It fills in the gaps and it makes creating and providing content on a regular basis a much easier and less time-consuming endeavor.

Find great quality PLR without the subscription at Busy Blogger PLR. Purchase the plr packs you will use right now.

Well as many of you know, I truly love PLR. Yeah, you can probably count me as a PLR addict. I’m sure a little trip through my computer files will prove it well. lol It’s something I’m working on. No PLR I won’t use immediately.

I have scaled it back to one monthly subscription for PLR for the next couple of months and then I buy plr packs as they come up. I love plr packs! I can go and grab it and put it up in just a few hours. I do rewrite my PLR, so if I buy a 10 pack of articles I can usually count on spending about 2 hours with some rewriting and additions.

Plus I love PLR because I can split the articles up into even more articles. I’ve had a 10 pack of articles break down into almost 40 blog posts before.

PLR vs. Free Reprint Articles: Which is Best?
By Nicole Dean

Content is always in high demand. Right now the focus seems to be on Private Label Rights (or PLR) articles. PLR articles are pre-written and sold in packages to online businesses looking for content. The big selling points of PLR articles are that you may edit the articles and that there is no author bio required (so they don’t have any outbound links).

Compare PLR articles to free reprint articles. Free reprint articles from places like ezinearticles.com or freeaffiliatearticles.com are written by people who have something they’d like to share. (Or, they are sometimes written by people just publishing junk, in the hopes that they’ll get some incoming links. But, good article directories will delete those, so we’ll focus on the good ones here.)

So, which is better? Honestly, each has its place. Sometimes you’ll find an excellent free reprint article that you’ll want to share with your readers and you won’t mind a bit having an outbound link, especially if there is an affiliate program associated with it. The free reprint article added value to your readers, and you didn’t have to write the article. That’s what free reprint articles are all about.

Other times you’ll already have an idea in mind for a topic and you’ll just want a boost getting that section of your website done. If you run across a high quality PLR package on that niche, you’re set to go.

So, how do you know which PLR service or membership to choose? Here are some guidelines to follow:

1. Some PLR sites offer a monthly membership where you receive a grab-bag of articles – on any topic. If you already know what you need, this may be a waste of money. Other PLR sites will list topics and you can buy the articles in a shopping cart. That ensures you receive the articles you need when you need them.

2. Are the articles written by professional writers with experience? Or are they outsourced to the cheapest overseas help they can find – no matter the quality? If the articles are going to be a reflection of your business, you’ll want to ensure that the articles are well-written.

3. Who’s running this thing? Is the PLR site run by someone who knows about content or someone who thinks they can ride the content wave and make a quick buck? Make sure you’re hitching your wagon to someone who knows what they’re doing.

Those are just a few tips to keep you from wasting money on a PLR site that you can’t use. Continue to use free reprint articles, but look into PLR articles as well. They can both benefit your website and your business.

Article written by:

Nicole Dean is the owner of www.EasyPLR.com – where you’ll find high-quality PLR articles sold in very limited quantities. The PLR articles at EasyPLR are professionally written and professionally edited — top quality at an affordable price.

Now even with all my love of PLR I do use free reprint articles. Especially articles that friends of mine have written. I just like to have a good balance to bring readers.

PLR and Ghostwritten Articles: Are they Ethical?
By Nicole Dean

Recently, in an interview, I was asked “Is it ethical to use private label rights and ghostwritten articles?”

Let me step back a moment and explain… Private label rights (or PLR) articles and ghostwritten articles are used by web owners as a method of outsourcing some of their content.

* PLR articles are packages of articles that are pre-written and sold to more than one person.

* Ghostwritten articles are articles that are written by someone else just for you that you can put your name on and are not sold to anyone else.

In both cases, you are allowed to edit the content as much or as little as you’d like and use the articles on your website, blog, or in your newsletter.

So, back to the question. Is it ethical? My answer was, “usually, yes”.

If you’re using the articles and saying “written by me” without changing anything at all, it may bite you in the butt later, when someone else does the same thing. Does that make it unethical? Not really. It’s just not smart. Can you use the article as it is or edited slightly, without saying it was written by you? Of course!

Most PLR packs are written by ghostwriters. Ghostwriters are professional researchers and writers. If you purchase well-written, informative PLR or ghostwritten articles and share them with your readers, don’t you all benefit? Your readers benefit by getting great information. You benefit by saving time. Is it any different than hiring a graphic designer or webmaster? Not in my opinion. Heck, most politicians don’t write their own speeches. They leave that to people who are professional speech writers.

Of course, you’d want to only use top-notch articles and not “sell-out” just to pump out blog posts or web pages quicker. We recommend you research thoroughly before choosing any ghostwriter or PLR service.

Here’s what to look for in a PLR service so you don’t waste your money:
1. Make sure the articles are written well.
2. Make sure that you know what topics you’ll receive (instead of some grab-bag of articles).
3. Be sure that the people running the program have some experience in article writing themselves, so they know what they’re doing.

There’s no point in doing everything on your own, especially if you dislike writing. All successful business people outsource the tasks they are not good at or dislike. Check it out. It might take some pressure off you and allow you to spend more time with your kids. And, that’s definitely ethical.

Article written by:

Nicole Dean is the owner of www.EasyPLR.com – where you’ll find high-quality PLR articles sold in very limited quantities. The PLR articles at EasyPLR are professionally written and professionally edited — top quality at an affordable price.

Just as a side note, as Nicole wrote that politicians use speech writers, think of the major corporations. Do the owners of the company come up with all the content or the advertising for their company? Do they write their own newsletters that go out? Does the owner of the Times actually write the paper anymore? The answer is a big huge NO. Using your resources productively is how all businesses grow. So use your resources more effectively and if writing isn’t something you do super quick, then look to some alternate places to bump up your content.

I’m pretty sure I’ve discussed my problem with starting new projects. I’ve been doing much better this year. Now I’m not saying I haven’t started any new projects, BUT I haven’t in the last few months and I am working hard at breaking that bad habit.

By not starting new projects it leaves me time to get back into the original projects I started years ago. Now some of them haven’t necessarily been neglected, but they sure haven’t gotten the attention that they deserve. I’ve neglected to put the personal touch into one site in particular and spent some time tonight trying to rectify that.

While posting new articles to the site I found a renewed energy for it. I’m not sure where my lack of passion came from, but I definitely found it again and writing articles wasn’t too difficult. I got 2 PLR articles rewritten, 2 recipes added and 2 fully original posts added as well. I’m set up for until next week now with posts.

I’m now also contemplating having a new template and logo made for the site, but we’ll see. I need to watch the extra spending at this time and there are probably some color and picture tweaks I can do that will make a big difference with

As a really busy Mom that works her business at home and away, I have learned to outsource in many areas. PLR ( private label rights ) is one of my absolute favorites. But alas, I will acknowledge that it becomes an addiction at times and is on my computer stacking up. What a waste!

I know from time to time you have seen my recommendations for PLR and I honestly do subscribe to all of them. But I want to make sure my readers are also using their time and money wisely since I know how easy it is to spend a ton of money each month and not even use it.

I’ve created the “Use that PLR” ecourse to help you get it off your computer. Never let it sit on your computer when it could be bringing you new traffic, earning you better SEO and just generally helping your readers. Whether you have a website or a blog, this ecourse will help you get the PLR off your computer and helping to make you money.

26 Ways to Use eBooks to Boost Your Business

eBooks are one of the most popular forms of content on the Internet today. They’re easy to publish, eco-friendly, and virtually free to distribute.

Done-for-you private label rights (PLR) packages like Mom PLR eBooks make publishing and marketing them easier than ever. No wonder, many Internet marketers are making fortunes from selling eBooks.

But did you know that an eBook can boost your business in so many ways, other than by selling it as an eBook?

Here are 26 ways one eBook can boost your business:

1. Break up the eBook into blog posts or articles for your site. Publishing fresh content frequently is a good way to build up traffic.

2. Use content from the eBook to respond to questions in Yahoo! Answers and discussion forums in your market. Of course, add a link to your site.

3. Turn the eBook into a training tool for your affiliates. Good affiliates are essential to your business.

4. Pull out content from the eBook to create a Squidoo lens, Hub Page and Google Knol. These Web 2.0 platforms are excellent sources of back links to your site.

5. Rewrite parts of the eBook into unique articles and submit to Ezine Articles, Lady Pens, Associated Content, Go Articles, and other article directories. More quality back links for your money pages.

6. Break up the eBook into an e-course. You can either sell or give away the e-course.

7. Take parts of the eBook and use them in your email newsletter or Ezine.

8. Give away the eBook to build up a mailing list. Readers will gladly give their email addresses for an eBook that addresses their problems.

9. Offer the eBook as a bonus for a paid product. Increase the value of your product.

10. Give the eBook away as an unannounced bonus to your customers. They’ll love you for it and will be happy to buy from you again.

11. Take the most actionable parts of the eBook and create a printed promotional postcard, flyer or newsletter.

12. Rewrite the eBook for a more specific niche, such as “stay at home Moms,” “Moms of multiples,” “Moms of teens,” “homeschooling Moms,” etc. Create a new stream of income from another market.

13. Sell the eBook as a printed book through Lulu.com. Be where few Internet marketers are.

14. Expand the eBook into a self-study course, by creating mindmaps, cheatsheets and step-by-step guides.

15. Break up the eBook into an audio or teleseminar series, which you either sell or give away.

16. Transform each chapter of the eBook into a podcast via iTunes. Podcasts increase your authority, drive traffic to your site, and warm up listeners to your offer.

17. Use the eBook to create a slideshow or screen capture video. Use the video to market your product or service on video sharing sites like YouTube.

18. Read the eBook to create an audio product. Sell it as a digital product, or a preloaded mp3 player. You’ll stand out from your competition.

19. Translate the eBook into another language, and sell it in other countries.

20. When preparing for a media interview, get content from the eBook to build your key messages.

21. Distill the eBook into a special report to either sell or give away.

22. Get the best nuggets of content from the eBook and turn them into Twitter tweets. Add a link to your site or squeeze page.

23. Use the eBook as a reference material when writing a press release.

24. Transform the eBook into a white paper, which explains your product or service to your target market.

25. Bundle the eBook with other eBooks about related topics, to create a comprehensive home study course.

26. Break the eBook content down into group coaching sessions you give through teleconference, teleseminar or webinar format. Charge for the group coaching, or give free access to build your list.

As you can see, an eBook can boost your business in so many ways. If you’ve only been using an eBook as an eBook, you’re missing out. That eBook can be repurposed, transformed, re-targeted and monetized in so many ways. Even a single eBook can do so much for your business.

If you don’t want to write your own eBook or hire a ghostwriter to do it for you, then using PLR content is your answer. PLR is the most affordable and fastest way to get an eBook and other content for your biz.

If you’re in the Mommy market, then you have to check out Mom PLR eBooks. Your monthly subscription gets you one brand-new, professionally written eBook every month, along with everything you need to market it:

- list of affiliate programs related to the topic of the month

10 MORE Ways to Use eBooks to Boost Your Business

The response to our previous blog post about 26 Ways to Use eBooks to Boost Your Business has just been awesome. So awesome that I’ve been inspired to think of even more ways to use eBooks – 10, in fact.

But before I get into that, let me just remind you that you don’t have to write these eBooks yourself. If your business is related to Mommyhood, check out Mom PLR eBooks. With your monthly membership, you’ll get private label rights (PLR) to an eBook, articles, blog posts and everything else you need for marketing.

1. Use content from the eBook to post meaningful and valuable comments in blog posts related to your niche.

2. Write a blog post about each topic in the eBook’s table of contents. Use on your own blog or as guest posts in related blogs.

3. Use the eBook as the basis of an online survey, to help you learn more about your market such as what type of information they want.

4. Create a FAQ page or special report with links to your site and/or affiliate links. Then make it go viral.

5. Distill the key points of an eBook into a poster – to give away or sell.

6. Use information in the eBook to create high-quality landing pages for your Pay Per Click campaigns.

7. Based on the eBook contents, develop a set of comics you can give away to build your list.

8. Pre-load a USB flash drive with several related eBooks and sell at a premium.

9. If you have a membership site, offer the eBook as an unannounced bonus.

10. Organize a webinar around the eBook. Record the webinar, have it transcribed, and you’ve got a brand-new product to either sell or give away.

Whew! With our previous blog post, that’s a total of 36 ways you can use eBooks to build your business. If I’ve missed any, please feel free to let me know by posting a comment below.

Marketing to Digital Moms: How To Reach Out To Today’s Tech-Savvy Moms

Gone are the days when the word “Mom” conjures images of a female who cannot operate the video recorder or navigate her way through the latest videogame, and only switches on the computer to send an email to Grandma.

According to a study published in 2009 by Razorfish and Cafemom, up to 27 million (84%) of Moms online are tech savvy. They use Web 2.0 platforms and shop online. In fact, they use communication technology and social media to connect with others, find advice and information, express themselves, do research on products they’re interested in, and simplify their multi-tasking lives.

“Digital Moms” have become so dominant on the Internet that the researchers concluded they are not a niche, but are rather the mainstream.

If you aren’t reaching out to digital Moms online yet, you might just be missing out on a significant market. Consider these numbers from the United States Census Bureau:

- Women control 80% of household spending. Even if they earn only a part or none of the total household income, women determine how much of the household income will be spent.

- Women do 60% of online shopping. Women do a lot of research online before making a purchase and actually make up more than half of online shoppers.

- Women buy 81% of all products and services. Women shop not only for themselves, but also for the home, family members, gifts for friends, teachers and associates.

The problem is, many online businesses just donít seem to know what to do when it comes to marketing to digital Moms. They make the mistake of treating all Moms online as if they all had the same needs and reasons for using the Internet. Not true, according to the Razorfish/Cafemom report. For example, younger Moms tend to be more comfortable with social networking and mobile surfing. On the other hand, Moms 45 years old and above gravitate more towards online news, product reviews and podcasting.

What is the best way to reach out to today’s digital Moms? Here are three tips:

- Provide relevant content. Some of the online Mom’s interests depend on what life stage she is in. For instance, digital Moms with young children naturally look online for information about parenting and child health. But there are topics that most digital Moms are interested in, no matter
how old their children are. These include fashion and cooking.

Mom PLR Ebooks provides regular private label rights content just for Moms. For a monthly supply of PLR recipes and product reviews, check out the “All Mom Content” package of All Private Label Content.

- Be present in the channels digital Moms are using. Again according to the Razorfish/Cafemom study, more than half of digital Moms use email, search engines, social networks, gaming and online news. Emerging channels used by about one-third of digital Moms include online videos, consumer reviews and blogs.

Aside from PLR Ebooks, your monthly subscription to Mom PLR Ebooks includes a 5-day Ecourse and 26 newsletter topic ideas – perfect for digital Moms who
use Email everyday. If you’re interested in providing consumer reviews, All Private Label Content includes 10 product profiles reviews every month.

- Know the particular needs, interests and online habits of your Mom audience. Digital Moms have varying needs and surfing behaviors, depending on their age and their children’s ages. The best way to accurately understand your particular Mom audience is to listen to them. Ask your list subscribers what their concerns are. Conduct your own surveys. Hang out in Mommy forums. Pay attention.

The majority of mothers online are digital Moms. They are tech savvy, smart consumers who make informed decisions when shopping online. They’re also online for social networking and even gaming. But they have varying needs depending on their life stage and their children’s ages. To market effectively to digital Moms, you need to give them what they’re looking for online, be where they are, and pay attention to their needs. Take care of digital Moms and you’ll have a profitable online business.
