Business Coaching

Yes, it’s tax season and this means we all have the best account of what we are doing with our businesses. Everything is broken down to what we are spending, saving and what programs are working.
One area I’ve been seriously lacking in the last two years is furthering my education. I’ve been ignoring it by using the “I don’t have time” excuse. Not pushing my businesses to the next level is a big waste of time and that goes against everything I believe in. I don’t …

I double dog dare you to stop the facebook games. If you say there is no way I ever could, then obviously you don’t follow me on facebook. lol I can’t even go check into my games to tell you what level I am. But farmville’s around 90, cafeworld is over 100. I don’t think I’ve even been playing them for 2 years, no idea when I started. See, I told you there are issues.

Life Tosses Roadblocks

Here I am wanting to whip myself into shape by powering through some of my to do list this week and I’ve already ran into a major roadblock and distraction of my own doing. UGH, it’s Tuesday and I can not stay up late at night because of early mornings with the kids and adjusting to new schedules.
Going to the range and hanging out with hubby on Monday was just fine. Monday’s are not a day I hope to get much done online, I know this. But he …

Doing Some Local Meetups

For those that may not know, I live in the South Puget Sound. Hence, I am under 20 miles from Seattle, however that translates to an hour commute with our awesome traffic and even longer depending on the direction and time of day.
But that aside, it’s always driven me nuts that I don’t know about any local big online events until the weekend of or after. WTF? I am not bragging when I say that I am a social media nut and I also include local media …

Update on Energy Drains

I posted last week on mental energy drains and how they have been affecting me. For the record there are quite a few posts I make that get post-dated quite a bit. I want to make sure that none are associated with anyone unless I actually specify a person.
I’d like to do an update on last weeks post as it was definitely a turning point in my summer. It also took me much longer to recover my mojo than ever before. But then again, I’ve never …

Mental Energy Drains

Ever since Kelly McCausey put up her post about mixed priorities, I’ve been doing some serious thinking. Reading the post has really stuck in my head. I know when this is the case then there is something going on and I have been ignoring it or just too busy to focus correctly.
It’s a little of both in this case. I’ve been ignoring how much energy a project is taking over everything else. Not in a good way, it’s taking more energy than it’s worth and much …

Four Ways to Deal with Stress

Stress can truly wreak havoc on your life, both personally and professionally. Symptoms of extreme stress can take both emotional and physical forms. Especially if you have any disorders to begin with.
Some common physical symptoms include aches and pains, diarrhea or constipation, nausea and/or dizziness, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, loss of libido, and frequent colds. Emotional symptoms may include moodiness, irritability or short temper, agitation or inability to relax, feeling overwhelmed, a sense of loneliness and isolation, and depression or general unhappiness.
When feeling overwhelmed by stress, it’s important …

More Money Before End of the Month

We’re over half way through July and there’s no time like the present to make some more money.  Do it right this second as a matter of fact.
Take a look at your income so far for the month or a past month.  What is the thing that is making you the most income?  Write it down at the top of  a computer document or notebook paper.
Write down 5 ways you promote this product or service that work the best.  Now go and quickly do those 5 things.  Put this at …
