I’m thankful for my spam blockers as I don’t go through the spam file any more. It’s just too full and if you put links in your emails then you don’t deserve any of our time.
But lately every blog has just been hit by so many commenters loading their name field with keywords. I appreciate that many of them are actual comments, but I am getting really ticked off at the blatant lack of etiquette by keyword loading.
It’s fine, cause what you may not have been told is …

As with everything else online, using forums is a matter of opinion and personal preference. There are two distinct opinions when it comes to forums. Some feel that they are a waste of time and can easily drain your day away. Others feel that they offer fantastic networking opportunities and information.
So who is right? Are forums a timewaster or a great place to network?
The answer is yes.
An online forum is what you make of it. If you visit your favorite marketing forum and end up getting …

In case you missed the start of this discussion, I posted Value as a WAHM after a twitter discussion was started. It not only prompted some great discussion via twitter and my blog post, but it also has brought up the topic at WAHM Talk Radio. My friend Chrissy is an intern on WTR and brought up some more good points. I felt the need to bring on some more discussion
I stated that the only negative was my own mindset. If I am lowering …

I brought this up on twitter last night and I was very sorry it was so late. Some great discussion was started, but I just couldn’t stay up and still be productive this morning. I hated shutting down the conversation for #wahmvalue.
**Disclaimer: I am a WAHM, I’m proud to be a WAHM, and I will always be a WAHM. So no getting offended by discussion here and thinking that I’m picking on WAHM’s. We all have our opinion based on our experiences.

I started a post previously about forums, negative and then some of my favorites. I briefly touched on my 3 favorites and have now decided to put up a much better description of each of them and hopefully entice you to join us. lol
I’m going to start with my absolute favorite forums. Mommy’s Helper Community. I’ve been a regular posting member there since Sept of 2004. So working on 6 years now! Not only do I have a ton of posts and helpful replies, …

If your marketing campaign just isn’t working, or you’re just getting started, take a long look at what you’re trying to do. Is it exciting? Is it eye catching? Is it unique? If not, you’re campaign is likely too bland to get anywhere.
It used to be that simply advertising your business could get you more than enough customers, but this is no longer the case. Look around you. There are advertisements EVERYWHERE.
There are commercials, print ads, billboards; your mind is …

Yikes, I dislike having such a negative post and thankfully I had some comments on it so it brought it to my attention. So this post is to counter that with some great forums to go check out!
I’ll also comment that I’ve been frequenting forums for over 9 years now. Sadly some major one’s that I learned the most from are so full of spam I won’t send anyone there any longer. But there are still some incredible forums out there that I am a part of …
