Goals and Prioritizing »
Goals, I know that word can be very scary, but it doesn’t have to be, especially if you know what to do. What is a goal? A goal is something specific, something you want or need to accomplish in a specific period of time. To establish a clear, central purpose or goal in life is the starting point of all success.
There was a study several years ago at a business school and the results of the graduates who had been out of school for at least ten years illustrates the …

It’s the end of the year and time to get to work on goals. You should be reviewing what you did last year and putting into place what needs to be done next year. Any successful business owner will tell you that setting goals is a very important part of their success. Goals serve as a business map. Without them, you will never know if you are accomplishing new things or growing in your business. It will also be difficult to figure out what you did that helped with the …

Prioritizing is especially important during the holidays. Holiday sales will slow down here in a couple of weeks as delivery can not be guaranteed before Christmas, but that is no reason to sit back and take 2-3 weeks off. Merely plan out some of the most important things that need to be done, just the basics (ie. email and your newsletters), and get them done. This will feel like taking time off since you will not be doing the usual updating and everyday, but your business won’t …

I find that I do my best thinking while I’m moving. In order to make the best of this situation I prefer to jump on some cardio exercise equipment. It gets the blood flowing and the monotony of the movement makes it so I don’t have to concentrate on anything except my brainstorm session.
Of course, this can be difficult if I get many ideas flowing too quickly, since it can be hard to write. But I can always slow or stop for a minute while I jot …

Not only write in the time you will be online, but write out what you need to get done in that time. It is just too easy to get online and play or answer emails that aren’t quite important. If you have a list of what you will …
Goals and Prioritizing, Newsletters »
Newsletters are this weeks priority. I have a to do now list on notepad and I love deleting things from it. I think deleting is even more fun than crossing it off a physical list. I’m a list girl, but I tend to have too many of them laying around. Then I confuse myself on which one is the most important to get done. My laptop has cured that thankfully. Plus it’s made it easy to work here and there when I have a …

But then again, aren’t we all playing catch up. The beauty of being a WAHM is setting your own schedule. Being able to run off to lunch with hubby, taking the kids to the lake, or letting their friends come over for a late night sleep-over. But alas, too many of those and you aren’t going to be very productive.
This is where I’m at right now. lol We had things come up and it’s the Summer for goodness sake. But still, I am running …

I am constantly bombarded by work and life. Then I am digging myself out with new ideas. Is this the way of the WAHM? Is it ever going to be easier? Or am I just going to keep going this way forever because it’s in my make-up? lol
Not only have changed up www.momchats.com by joining forces with Lauren, but now I’m working on putting another site into a smaller niche market.
The major decision is that I am putting www.littlescrapbookshop.com for sale. I do not …
