Goals and Prioritizing

Todays Goals

Jun 3rd, 2008 | By Val | Category: Goals and Prioritizing

We’ve talked about procrastination and the need to set goals. I was talking to a friend of mine today online and her goals have changed immensely and quickly. While we were working through ways to achieve these goals and exactly what they needed to be set at my goals came into account.

By working together I actually bumped my goals up. I decided to shoot for my end of the year goal now instead of shooting for only the mid-point. I was being conservative and it’s time to stop doing that. By giving myself the extra time I am actually making my natural procrastination worse.

Focusing again

It’s obviously close to the middle of the year. I’m feeling a little scattered again and need to take inventory. It’s time to pull out my spring cleaning ebook I downloaded from Alice who among other sites owns Internet Marketing Sweetie Course.

This ebook was an eye opener to how much time I’ve wasted both in actual time and in emotionally worrying about sites I’m not getting to like I should.

It’s time to take inventory of my sites. Check the stats on all of them and see what is working and what is not. You’ll be seeing some more sites for sale soon.

How you view your home business from the beginning will help set the future of your business. Many people who start a home business never take the time to write out a business plan. That is a big mistake, as a business plan can greatly increase your chances of success. The following are some reasons why every business needs to put a business plan into writing.

A business plan maps out your future. If you have decided you are ready to start a business, your first step should be to write out your plans for what you want to do with the business and where you see the business going in the future. Set these ideas up for 5 to 10 years out at least. Don’t shoot small.
