Finding Auction Sites

Jun 29th, 2008 | By Val | Category: Business Ideas, General Biz

I know I have a lot of readers on here and I’d love to get some answers. I do not want to go with ebay, but they are the best option for traffic of course. I’ve tried to research but that just brings up so many garbage sites with no auctions on them that people have started and never followed through with.

If you have a place you like to use for auctions besides ebay, please post to me. I’ve been told I need to just start my own, but I know it will take a good amount of marketing to get the traffic that brings good sales to the buyers. We’ll see, it may happen.

Invite Biz

The party invitations biz has been a big one for many WAHM’s for years now. Especially as more advertising reps and designers decide to have more families. The invites just keep getting better and better. Goodness knows the rest of us keep getting busier, so it’s much more to my liking to order some custom invites for my special occasion.

If you do open a party invite biz, think of branching out to invites for different party reps. Make the party invites less Mommyish and much more diva. Turn your great graphic abilities into the next dimension of party invites.
