Attitude of Gratitude Award
Shelly sent me a tweet that she’d nominated my blog for an award. AWWW, I love awards. lol So off I went to check it out her blog: Shakin’ and Bakin’ in the kitchen with Shelly
Low and behold it’s an awesome Attitude of Gratitude award that was started by another friend online Denise Willms of Wahm-Articles.

Attitude of Gratitude Award
Over the years I have had so much help online. I learned SEO from the people that have taught SEO at google conventions. And I’m talking, I learned this way back in 1999/2000. Sure wish I’d understood the importance then, but there is just so much to learn when you start out. Guess where I met these people? In the WAHM community! Yes, sorry to break it to you people, but the “guru’s” are normal people like us. roflmbo
I’m a huge fan of paying-it-forward and I do so daily online and off. I just understand that when you give it all comes back as well. No, not all religiously on you or the secret (was it a secret?) but just plain being the best person you can and surrounding yourself with good people as well.
10 of the good people I surround myself with?
1. Sugar Rae – I “met” Rae a LONG, LONG time ago. Seems like another lifetime ago because I was doing so many things the hard way. If you want to learn how to work smarter and do things correctly, then Rae is a must read. She may offend some at times, so keep that in mind before clicking to her blog. She’s a woman after my own heart and tells it like it is. She has no tolerance for stupidity. lol
2. Shakin’ and Bakin’ in the kitchen with Shelly – Shelly’s blog is much more than recipes. She’s done an incredible job of working in tips and of course some great give-aways.
But yes, do go there for the recipes! lol You won’t be disappointed and she’s always updating with tons more.
3. Wahm 2.0 – This network of bloggers is awesome. From direct sales, to your own products. There is something for everyone and plenty of tips to search through. You can get different points of view all at one blog.
4. Internet Marketing Sweetie – I’ve followed Alice for quite some time and am always impressed with myself when she comes out with a tip or blog post and I’m doing it already. I know I’m working in the right direction if I’m doing things she recommends.
But her site is also great because you can tell she is just working on getting it all into her day as I am. When I’m feeling overwhelmed I can go and find an older post and see how she may have approached stepping back and evaluating. Not to mention her freebies on there are INCREDIBLE!
5. Nicole on the Net – I met Nicole through MM. Of course, when you are in a mastermind community there are many times you visit each others sites for feedback or for new launches. I use a lot of Nicole’s products and I love her personal spin on marketing. It’s not all canned responses and you only should do it this way. She’s discussed things she does and doesn’t care for and tells why it does or doesn’t work for her.
5. Profitable Mommy Blogging – Another networking of blogging information from many authors. Plenty of interviews with bloggers to check out and follow, along with great information on making your blog(s) more profitable.
6. Mom Masterminds Blog – I have been a lifetime member of MM for a couple of years and the networking I’ve done and the things I have learned can not be put into a sentence or two even. Not even in a couple of posts. lol Marketing, networking, site building, list building. You name it, I get it from this membership and you can get a peak at what goes on by visiting the blog.
7. My WAHM Blog – Lauren’s my friend and biz partner so of course I go there to keep up on some things.
8. Stop, Drop and Blog – This is a great blog with personal and business stuff intermixed. It is mostly personal and she being a fellow firefighter wife I like to hear her perspective of how another wife copes.
9. Working Mom Writes – Chrissy has this great blog that is a lot of personal views and dealings, and a total gem in writing. It’s not your regular blog, it is a written piece of art. So don’t go looking for just blog posts here.
10. Just Not Martha – Personal blog about working from home. Loretta is a good friend of mine. Lots of great deals and humor to get you through your day.
So what are your 10 blogs of gratitude going to be?
