Shopping, deals, prizes and leftovers!
Sounds like a perfect day to me. Sitting at home, eating turkey sandwiches with a side of cranberries. MMM, can’t wait

Business and emotions don’t really seem to mix very well. But as emotions are a daily part of our lives, short of becoming robotic, you may be faced with the two intermingling at some point in your career.
Here are a few tips to help you stay on track and overcome emotions in your business life.
#1 – Take a deep breath – If you’re having a bad day or particular difficulties at home, it may not be easy to switch back into business mode, but it can be done. Breathing is an effective strategy for all sorts of issues such as panic attacks, anger control or simply switching back to a positive state.

Use google alerts to find websites in your niche keywords. This will give you blogs to go and comment on regularly to generate traffic and backlinks. BUT it is also really, really awesome to see your posts come up in those alerts. lol

Site should reflect you.
Ultimately, if you do everything right, but your site is just like every other well-made site, you still may not be able to make money off it. Your site needs to have something unique that reflects who you are and what you can provide and honestly why they should go to your site instead of others.

Unlike the traditional business model, an online business gives you 24-hour presence which anyone from around the world can access.
This is an exciting and fantastic opportunity for business owners who know how to make the most of this powerful sales engine.
Here are a few tips to help you create a website that really sells:
#1 – Keep it simple. A great website doesn’t have to include tons of graphics or flash images; in fact, this can work against you. A website with clean lines that’s easy to read and navigate will usually have a better conversion rate. Your visitors aren’t really interested in all the bells and whistles – what really matters most to them are the answers you have to their problems. You can achieve this by offering genuine great information.

Being a good decision maker can help you in business and life. It’s been said that highly confident people make decisions clearly and stick to them rather than changing their minds or being indecisive. I go back and forth with this. I am a highly confident woman, BUT that said I do let others make stupid decisions for me that I wouldn’t have. So don’t let others outward confidence make you feel smaller in anyway. We all have a tough time making decisions in certain areas.

You’ve probably seen advertisements on TV offering to train you for a successful career as a medical or legal transcriptionist. While these can be rewarding careers, you can also become a successful transcriptionist without spending all your time and money in classes and learning all the special terms.
You can get to work in no time as a general transcriptionist. A general transcriptionist needs to be able to listen to spoken notes and type them in a format that is understandable not only to the person who gave the dictation, but also to a third party reader looking over your documents. This means you have to be able to type, but also think on your feet, interpret what people are saying, and understand a variety of voices and accents.

Make things easy to find.
Everyone wants things fast, and adding a search box or an easy site map will help them find what they’re looking for quickly and easily. I personally think that a site search box was one of the best things invented. I use it frequently on other sites and blogs.
