Private Label Rights – Good for What Ails Your Email Marketing
Jan 22nd, 2008 | By Val | Category: PLR->
When you launched your business you heard all about the importance of The List, so you put an opt- in box on your site to capture emails. You sent out a few newsletters, maybe even prettied them up with html and multiple articles to create an ezine. Sadly, a few months later, and you can’t seem to find the time to email your list, much less make any product recommendations to get some of those affiliate checks everyone’s talking about.
The good news is, there is a name for this condition. It’s called:
Newsletter Failure To Thrive
If your newborn newsletter is failing to thrive, we may have just the thing to put some meat on your autoresponder’s bones. It’s called Private Label Rights content. What is PLR? It’s content written by ghostwriters that you can purchase inexpensively for use in your business. How can it help your lightweight email marketing efforts?
If you’re having trouble finding the time to email your list on a regular basis, try using a PLR article. Simply edit it a bit and send it out to your list. They’ll enjoy hearing some useful information, and be less likely to cry “spam” if you don’t go too long inbetween contacting them.
Have you always wanted to create an ecourse to promote a particular product? Put together a few PLR articles on a topic and plop them into your autoresponder. This is a great way to increase your affiliate commissions.
Is noone signing up for your newsletter at all? Maybe you need to create a dangling carrot. Put a free report together from PLR content along with some of your own writing, and make it into a pretty pdf. Use that as your “bribe to subscribe” and watch your subscriber list grow.
Publishing PLR content on your website also draws more subscribers to you. Each page of your site should have an invitation to join your newsletter, and the more content you have, the more visitors you’ll enjoy. If they like what you have to say and see that you’re a trusted source of information, they’ll sign up for your list. It’s the start of a beautiful relationship!
Carrie Lauth and Tiffany Washko have the remedy for you at Natural Mom PLR, the net’s only PLR membership site for all natural moms and those who market to them. It includes high quality articles, natural product reviews and healthy recipes delivered to you each and every month, for less than you might pay for one ghostwritten article.
